Jasper, AB -- Imagine yourself like a drop of water, slipping, sliding, dangling and splashing, as you make your way through the cracks of one of Jasper National Park’s hidden canyons. This May long weekend, daring adventurers looking to venture beyond can be led into Jasper’s steep-walled gorges, deep mountain valleys, and rushing canyon waterfalls with Rocky Mountain Canyoning Ltd., the first ever commercially guided canyoning company in the real Rockies.

While canyoning requires a certain degree of fitness, the challenge can be less physical and more mental. If you’re able to put fear aside, be sure to take the time to enjoy the awe-inspiring surroundings as you find yourself in an environment that most will never see or experience.

This experience will have you descend by rappel into one of Jasper’s most scenic canyons, with tours going through Two Valley Canyon, Morrow Canyon, and Ogre Canyon - all located within Jasper National Park.

Groups of up to six can expect to be out exploring for the majority of the day as they hike and rappel in truly stunning territory. All equipment is supplied, including a harness, helmet, footwear and other specific technical clothing to make the trip enjoyable. Expect to get wet!

Think you’ve seen Jasper? You haven’t seen it all just yet! With tours operating from May through to October 31, take the plunge this summer and be one of the first to dive into one of Jasper’s newest adventures.
