Banff’s Newly Updated High Altitude Adventure
The views are spectacular from the top of Sulfur Mountain where the Banff Gondola has been depositing visitors since 1959. May 2016 marks the relaunch of the popular attraction after a $26 million renovation.
More to See and Do – A new state-of-the-art welcome centre at the top of the mountain will offer everything from passive observation to hands-on interactive experiences. The upper terminal facility has an unparalleled rooftop view, an expansive interpretive area, a highly-immersive specialty theatre, private event facilities, retail space, and all-new food and beverage offerings.
Bigger isn’t Better – Extensive planning and consultation has gone into this redevelopment project to ensure it has minimal environmental impact. There is zero change to the structure’s footprint, but the innovative family-friendly experiential design will connect visitors to the park in completely new and unforgettable ways.
Making Mountain Memories –
Brewster Travel Canada has a legacy that dates back to 1892 and is one of the oldest operators in the Canadian Rockies. The Banff Gondola is its signature experience and this year, it’s better than ever.
