Après Ski Hot Spots in the Canadian Rockies

What happens off the slopes is half the fun of a Canadian Rockies ski vacation and après ski is the heart of the social scene in Banff and Jasper. Whether or not visitors hit the slopes, they’re sure to enjoy the socializing that starts after the last run of the day and goes late into the night.
Live Music
Live music, drink specials, good food and camaraderie make the Canadian Rockies après scene vibrant and exciting. Visitors can find a wide variety of live music every night of the week in Banff at The Rose & Crown, Bruno’s, St. James Gate, The Beaver Bar, Pump & Tap, or Wild Bill’s. There’s also great live music in Jasper at The Royal Canadian Legion, D’ed Dog Bar & Grill, Whistle Stop Pub and Atha B Nightclub.
After a big day carving up the slopes, visitors look for a warm pub with cool libations. Banff and Jasper are home to two funky brew pubs with a mission to produce superior quality craft beer and fine après ski food. Owned by the same parent company, the flagship beers at Banff Ave. Brewing Co. and Jasper Brewing Company  are India pale ales. They also produce unique seasonal beers such as Pumpkin Ale, Raspberry Ale or Blueberry Vanilla Ale and serve them up with great appetizers like pulled pork poutine and Alberta beef sliders.
