How’s a thirsty visitor supposed to find their way around? The experts at Calgary Brewery Tours will lead them to the lagers. Calgary’s craft beer scene has exploded and new microbreweries have popped up in and around the city. Visitors can taste the flavours of the Calgary area with two new tours that provide a unique way to experience the culture of the city.

The Calgary Craft Beer Tour immerses guests in the city’s legendary western hospitality as they meet Calgary’s master brewers and sample exceptional beer. The full-day experience features guided tours and tastings at Village Brewery, CRAFT Beer Market, The Dandy Brewing Company, Tool Shed Brewing Company and Last Best Brewing and Distilling. Lunch at CRAFT Beer Market is included along with a souvenir bag stocked with goodies.

A drive along the Cowboy Trail on the Spirit of Alberta Tour reveals the place where craft beer began in Alberta, the richness of mead and the distilled perfection of Alberta spirits. The journey begins at Alberta’s first microbrewery, Big Rock Brewery in Calgary. Along the trail, guests get to see the Okotoks Erratic that Big Rock Brewery is named for and enjoy tours and tastings at Chinook Honey Company & Chinook Arch Meadery and Eau Claire Distillery. A souvenir bag stocked with goodies is included.
