Sunshine Village Ski Resort announced the lineup for its popular Spring Concert Series today, with Canadian singer songwriter Scott Moffatt of boy band fame “The Moffatt’s” kicking off the five week long outdoor music event.

The resort’s popular outdoor concerts, which will see five local bands entertain on-mountain guests, will take place every weekend from April 26th and 27th through May 17th and 18th.  This year’s artists include returning favourites from Tim Hus and his Travelin’ Band to Funk and Disorderly, who bring their infectious mix of eclectic funk and reggae infused groves.

“Sunshine’s Spring Concert Series is such a unique opportunity to indulge in Canada’s best spring skiing while taking in an exciting musical lineup,” begins Dave Riley, Chief Operating Officer, Sunshine Village Ski Resort. “This year’s event will feature a wide variety of musical genres, providing entertainment for every guest.”

The live shows can be enjoyed by anyone with a lift ticket or season’s pass. Non-skiers may also purchase a gondola-only ticket to reach the concert area, located high in the Canadian Rockies.

The Sunshine Village outdoor stage is located in the heart of the village next to historical Mad Trapper’s Saloon and the Molson Coors Beer Gardens, new Patron Igloo and the Veuve Clicquot Champagne and Oyster Bar.

Wide open until May 19th, Sunshine’s Spring Concert Series includes:

April 26th and 27th – Scott Moffatt
May 3th and 4th – Tim Hus
May 10th – 11th – Funk & Disorderly
May 17th – 18th – Shred Kelly
