No gear? No problem! Parks Canada has you covered this summer with its new Equipped Campsite offer. Looking for a hassle-free family vacation? Gathering some friends for an outdoor excursion? Wanting to experience a taste of camping in the outdoors for the first time? Whatever your desire, planning your trip to Banff National Park just got a whole lot easier!

Each year, thousands of visitors journey to national parks to connect with nature through a classic Canadian camping adventure. Parks Canada is committed to seeking new ways to revitalize and diversify its camping offer to meet the needs of new and existing campers this summer.

From July 10 to August 18, 2014, Parks Canada has designated 10 sites in Two Jack Main Campground for the Equipped Campsite offer. Each site is equipped with a tent, sleeping pad, a cook stove, and a lantern – all you bring is your sense of adventure. A recommended gear list is provided.

For $55 per night, campers arrive to a fully setup tent! As an additional value added experience, Parks Canada will offer a Camping 101 program. And, if you don’t have all the camping items you need such as sleeping bags and cookware, Parks Canada has partnered with a local retailer who can set you up with convenient rental items.

To book your campsite, email banff.camping@pc.gc.a. Then leave the rest to us!
