On Saturday, May 16th, Heritage Park
’s Historical Village will open for its 51st season of discovery, adventure and fun!
The midway will be in full swing, the candy jars fully stocked and the bakery shelves lined with freshly baked cheese buns. Explore over 180 exhibits, join in a variety of activities and meet the new farm animals.
May 16th through 18th, the first 500 guests through the gates before 10:30 a.m. each day can enjoy a complimentary pancake breakfast
, with paid gate admission, served hot off the grill in Gunn’s Dairy Barn.
The Park’s newest exhibit, the Yellow Otter tipi will be open for guests to visit and learn about the significance of painted tipis. Visitors to the Encampment can also try traditional hunting tools and play centuries-old games.
Explore the waters of the Glenmore Reservoir aboard the S.S. Moyie paddlewheel boat, take a trip on a thundering steam train and get a birds-eye-view of the Park atop the antique Ferris Wheel – as often as you like. Park admission includes unlimited rides, all of the daily hands-on activities and admission into the Canmore Opera House to catch the premiere of the new musical Ragtime to Riches
Heritage Park Historical Village is open daily from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., from May 16 until September 7
, then weekends only until October 12. Gasoline Alley Museum is open daily, year-round. A Family Annual Pass with Rides, valid for up to six people is only $169.00 and valid for one full year!
