by Kensington BRZ
Visit Kensington all summer long! Play at the Beach in the City, watch your favorite summertime flicks and enjoy a variety of libations and nosh at the best pubs around! The BRZ is enhancing your summertime Kensington programming by replacing the one-day Sun and Salsa Festival with a full cast of events all summer long!

"This summer will be one to remember! Our Beach in the City event will be produced alongside the Big Slide event taking place August 1st and 2nd. Expect to play beach volleyball, enjoy a variety of food trucks, mermaids, music, sprinklers, smoothies and much more! Summertime Movies will take place weekly throughout August and our amazing businesses will be hosting a variety of events and "crawls" all summer long!" says Annie MacInnis, executive director of the Kensington BRZ.
This amazing collection of great things to do will take place on Kensington Road and 10th Street NW. Kensington Crescent will be blocked off to host the Kensington Beach in the City.

"The Kensington BRZ values our strong and collaborative relationships with TELUS, ATB, Car2Go, Calgary Parking and the City of Calgary. Without the support of these invaluable sponsors and partners, events like Beach in the City, Summertime Movies, and various other neighbourhood events would not be possible," says Jonathan Kane, Chair of the Board of Directors, Kensington BRZ.
Shop, play and celebrate summertime fun, flicks, and more in Kensington! We're here waiting for you!
