Edmonton makes list of National Geographic's Best Summer Trips 2015

Edmonton has been enjoying a lot of attention recently. Named one of the Best Summer Trips 2015 by National Geographic, the city is being recognized for a busy calendar of events that includes long running summer staples such as Folk Music Festival and Heritage Days, and major events such as FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, which kicks off June 6 in Edmonton with the opening ceremonies and a double-header.
