In its first two years Drumheller's DinoFest
was a tremendous success welcoming over 7,500 attendees with a marketing campaign leading up to the event that engaged over 750,000 people from across Western Canada.
The Drumheller Festival Society is roaring about the return of this annual festival celebrating the palaeontology culture of Drumheller and the Canadian Badlands. This festival offers a variety of family-friendly activities from June 13-15, 2014.
"Economic benefits of the fun-filled weekend in our off season were realized throughout the community in the last few years, and we are excited to be hosting it again " explains Ryan Semchuk, President of the Drumheller Festival Society," We want to encourage Western Canadian Dinosaur enthusiasts to trek to Drumheller for the weekend. We'll have some great events waiting for them."
"One of the attractions to DinoFest are the Friday & Saturday night outdoor Dino themed movies on the big screen - especially when it's right under the nose of the World's Largest Dinosaur," says the event's executive producer Mike Dooley. "Drumheller's DinoFest 2014 has such a great foundation to grow from considering the success of the last two years.
