The interactive, mobile version of Experience Kananaskis Country & The Cowboy Trail travel guide is now available - just in time for the busy summer travel season in Alberta. This new online guide features an interactive Google Map on loop tour pages, downloadable pages from the top toolbar as well as seamless sharing of content through email and social media.
The guide is now also stocked at Visitor Information Centres and tourism outlets throughout Alberta.
The Cowboy Trail marketing brochure has evolved to become part of this innovative new tourism publication, produced by CMI Publishing of Calgary. This unique collaboration has allowed The Cowboy Trail Tourism Association (CTTA) to take advantage of CMI’s expertise in producing and publishing online and interactive guides while concentrating their attention on promoting members through The Cowboy Trail website at www.thecowboytrail.com - the exclusive vehicle to promote their member’s authentic western experiences.

It was announced at the CTTA’s 2012 Annual General Meeting that they would be embarking on a bold new strategy for 2013, which included providing stakeholders with one low membership fee which would include a full-page listing on the website, and this collaboration with CMI Publishing in the production of Experience Kananaskis Country & The Cowboy Trail. This new strategy is producing positive results for the CTTA. Visitation to The Cowboy Trail website is up 44% over year-to-date numbers for 2012 and CTTA membership has grown 25%.
