Keep the St. Patrick’s Day party going on Friday, March 21 with renowned Celtic band Seanachie
. Centered on the world class piping of Anne Gray and the stellar singing of Gordon McCulloch, the group combines original and traditional music to create a show you will never forget. Prior to reelin’, tuck into the tastiest Irish themed four-course plated dinner this side of the Atlantic.
The evening’s menu begins with a unique twist to the traditional “Liver and Onions”. Foie gras torchon is served with toasted brioche crostini and onion marmalade. Following that, patrons can dig into a hearty Cullen’s Seafood Stew, packed with mussels, scallops, prawns and haddock with a lemon dill velouté and all baked under a puff pastry lid. Driview Farms lamb shank with a wild mushroom jus is served over champ and chives, braised black kale and roasted golden beets. The meal comes to a sweet finish with chocolate whiskey cake and Irish cream.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a plated dinner in the main gallery of Gasoline Alley Museum. The concert follows in the museum at 8 p.m. Tickets are $69.95 + GST per person and are available online at www.HeritagePark.ca
