For skiers and riders chasing winter magic in the Rockies, snow days start tomorrow. After receiving 27cm of natural snowfall overnight, Mt. Norquay will commence winter operations tomorrow, Friday, November 3, 2017*, from 11am to 4pm. It will be Canada’s first ski resort to open for the 2017/18 season.

The Chiniki Cultural Centre and Stones Restaurant were envisioned by Chief Aaron Young and Wayne Chiu of the Chiniki Trico Partnership as a means to create sustainable, holistic change and self-reliance for the people of the Chiniki Nation. This unique cultural destination allows the Chiniki people to share an authentic First Nations experience unlike any other. The Centre honours the Chiniki history and culture through sharing food, art, music, traditions, activities and storytelling.
