124 Street in Edmonton welcomes the winter season with inaugural festival All is Bright

All is Bright is an outdoor, culturally unique event that celebrates the coming of the winter season through light installations, local entertainment and fun family programming. Our festival is FREE and everyone is welcome!
On Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. join the wonderful businesses of 124 Street in a celebration of light to kick off the winter season with our All is Bright festival.
Edmonton’s popular 124 Street welcomes an amazing array of activities including: magical sleigh rides down 124 Street, a FREE afternoon BBQ presented by Smokehouse BBQ on 108 Avenue, a children's programming area presented by Cococo Chocolatiers, an outdoor Winter Market put on by the 124 Grand Market stocked full of vendors ready to fill your bags with holiday provisions, a Winter Wonder Fashion show featuring trendy 124 Street boutiques like Shades of Grey, Floc, Red Ribbon, Thread Hill, Mountain Equipment Co-op and more! Don’t miss the outdoor Beverage Garden with festive drinks , food trucks and best of all, an outdoor stage with talented Edmonton entertainers, The AwesomeHots, Wool On Wolves and Shout Out Out Out Out! DJ Sonny Grimez will also be spinning catchy beats to keep the chill away throughout the day.
In addition to all the regular fun, the hilarious “Hey Ladies” from the Theatre Network will host the evening segment. They will be introducing Councillors Scott McKeen and Ben Henderson before our “Light Up” countdown and opening ceremonies at 6p.m.
There will be a store front “Light Up” contest among 124 Businesses and guest VIP judges will be awarding prize packages for best window! So be sure to stroll down 124 Street to view the lit up store fronts.

All is Bright will be located between Jasper Avenue and 102 Avenue on 124 Street and will run for one special evening only on November 23, 2013.
